UNITED PARTY
JETTISONS AIR DAVY. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. Sensational developments in connection with the United Party’s organisation took place to-night at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Political Association. A resolution, according to an official report supplied to “The Dominion,” was unanimously carried, terminating Air Davy’s services as Chairman of the United Political Organisation. The resolution also stopped the payment of the honorarium. In a statement, also made hist night, Air Davy declared that the meeting was illegal. _ Air Davy intimated that next day lie would apply to the Supreme Court for an injunction, restricting the Executive from acting in the manner decided upon.
