SAMOA

RES ULT OF OPF R ATIONS

By Telegraph—Press Assn., Copyright.

WELLINGTON, January 24

Folowing a telegram 'from the 'Administrator of Western Samoa received 'by the Prime Minister operations yesterday resulted in the finding of the camp"O'f-.the main body of the Mnu near the watershed of the Faleasiii. The camp "had recently been abandoned and the Man Had moved west. We are continuing to restrict their area. Eleven were secured on minor charges but no head men yet. I regret that one native was shot by the police yesterday and the wound is believed to be fatal. I fully realise the importance of the matter and am making full investigation and will report further later.
