The Commission ;whicn has been inquiring into the position of the physically and economically incapacitated' ex-soldiers, has completed its report, according to a statement by the Minister of Defence (Hon J. G. Forbes), lbe Minister added that be expected to be in possession of the recommendations of the Commission at an early date. The Commission, which heard evidence from ex-soldiers throughout New Zealand, consisted of Mr J. S. Barton, S.M. (Chairman), Sir John Luke, and Air S. J. Harrison, and it was required to furnish its report to me Government by February 10th. next.
