N.Z. AERO CLUBS

CONFERENCE PROPOSED

[By Telegraph, Per Press Association.!

WELLINGTON, Jan. 21. A suggestion that the Aero Clubs of the Dominion should combine 0 hold a conference to discuss matteis of mutual interest has been made, and it is likely that the representatives of the Clubs will meet m Wellington late in February. This idea, it is understood, emanated from Otago, and a majority, at least, of the bodies concerned have thought the proposal a good one, and have suggested that Wellington should be the meeting place. Some of the matters to be discussed are aeroplane insurance, Government subsidies, pageants, club finance, and co-opera-lion. Several clubs which have been sending their machines to the pageants of other dubs have found that the practise is expensive, and _an agreement -between those assembled upon this point may be looked for.
