Here I am, and here I shall stay,” declared a frail old woman, carrying an enormous umbrella, and planting herself among a laughing group of bathing girls who were being filmed at Torquay. Wheris.it was pointed out that she was spoiling the film, the old lady replied: “That is just what I intended to do!” She refused to budge until the girls left the beach. Thereupon she went off to lodge a protest with the Magistrates, one of whom is her brother.
