TRIPOLI, Jan. 19
Fighting against rebels, ‘ Italian troops captured and occupied Murzuk, thus giving them command of the entire inland area of Tripoli. Italy, in 1924, abandoned Mnrzuk and other inland posts, limiting her occupation to the coastal areas. The re-conquest of the interior was continued gradually since 1927. In the Murznk fighting, f'orty-qight natives were killed, and twelve captured. The air forces overtook and annihilated a retreating column comprising three hundred camels.
