COAL CONFERENCE FAILS

GENEVA, Jan. 19
The International Coal Conference has ended, failing to agree upon the hours of work. Employed's proposed eight and the miners seven, voting for a compromise of 7£ being equal. The only decision was to include the question for the International Labour Conference in June.
