A new style of fraud lias been discovered by smart detectives, Two men. claiming to he able to forge absolutely undetectable false dollar notes, obtained large sums from persons eager to share in the profits. The rascals put up an elaborate machine and proceeded apparently to print • notes, which, however, were real ones, previously inserted in the machine. Thereafter they had no difficulty in getting what money was wanted from their victims for the purpose of carrying on work.
