PARROT FEVER

SPREAD IN U.S.A. [United Press Association—By Electrit Telegraph.—Copyright.] NEW YORK, Jan. 14. Parrot fever, the outbreak of which was cabled on January 10th. is apparently increasing as four deaths have been reported to-day throughout the country, while there are cases of varying seriousness, which are holding the attention of the Government authorities. Nine cases were reported in the New York area. Twenty-seven are in the neighbourhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The others are scattered.
