SHEIKS SURRENDER

BASRA, Jan. 11. Feisul Ed Dawish, the Wahabi “De Wet,’’ who is notorious for his ruthless raids on Iraq (as cabled on March 1928) has surrendered unconditionally, to the British, with the Sheik-Ibni Tlmain, leader of the Ajman tribe. These surrenders have followed operations by Ibn Saud, another tribal leader, whose soldiers were closely pursuing the Sheiks when the latter capitulated. They were placed on board a, British ship, bound for an unknown destination. i'f
