DOMINION TOURNEY OPENS.

DUNEDIN, Jan. 13. The Dominion bowling tourney opened this morning with the singles, 116 players participating on eleven greens. The weather is dull with little rain for a week, the greens are in good order. The visitors were formally welcomed ,by Mr C. J, Fayite (President) before play started. There are 176 pairs to compete and 90 rinks, only 10 of which are from the North Island. 1
