500 in camp. fßy Telegraph, Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 0. Five hundred Girl Guides went into camp at Trentham yesterday. All parts of the Dominion are represented. Miss Alison Kebbell, of Levin, is the Commandant of the camp which is among the trees at the corner of the racecourse, and very prettily situated. The gathering is not primarily for training purposes but Miss Dalton who was specially brought from England by the Wellington Executive, is present to look after such training as may be thought necessary. The canup will continue till the 17th, but has not been favoured by the weather at the outset as a wet. cold southerly is raging.
