GREY RACES
The G rvymouth Jockey Club were favoured with a fine day yesterday alter a very stormy night. There was a, record attendance but the track was very heavy. Four, horses came down during the day as a result of one, the racehorse Tane was killed and the jockey G.' Barr injured. The tote investments for the day were £13,522 compared, with £10,061 for the corresponding day last year. The grand total for the two days was £23,350 against £16,860 for the corresponding period last year, being an increase of £6,490.
