CANADIAN BOWLERS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright;. (Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) WHANGAREI, Dec. 31. The Canadian bowlers opened their Dominion toar last night when they took part in friendly games under electric light at Whangarei Club green. On arrival in the afternoon they were accorded a civic welcome, and in the evening play was witnessed by a very large gathering. The proceedings were very enjoyable. This morning the party are at Whangarei where a special programme has been arranged by Maoris. On return this afternoon they will take part in a test tourney.
