THE KELLOGG PACT. [United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] WASHINGTON, Dec. 30. Mr Stimson repudiated newspaper reports that Britain formally interpreted the Kellogg Pact as meaning there were no neutral in a future war. Mr Stimson challenged the press interpretation of the British .White Paper, explaining he had received a copy himself, a study of winch convinced him the reports were not substantiated. He .said the British assertion relative to neutrality was limited to members of the League and was not based on the Kellogg Pact.

Mr Forkc. Minister for Immigration and Colonisation, was nnnointed to U>o Senate. Mr Stewart, Minister for the Interior will he also acting Minister of Immigration and acting Minister of Agriculture during the present illness from pneumonia of Mr Motherwell. Mr C’rerar will contest the BrandonForkes constituency.
