On the occasion of the 50th. anniversary of the Pope’s entry into the priesthood, King George has sent a message to His Holiness. The King says: “I cannot allow this happy occasion to pass without offering my sincerest congratulations and best; wishes for your welfare and happiness. I ask Your Holiness to accept my felicitations and my assurance of the sincere friendship and heartfelt respect and esteem which I feel for the person and character of Your Holiness.
