AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODYS PICTURES “NOW WE’RE IN THE AIR. TO-NIGHT. The aviator and his plane, the immortal “We” of Lindborg, is now great 'human interest element of the motion picture. For a time it was dogs. Every 'picture had its dining dog for a human interest touch. Then children supplanted dogs, and the picture that needed a- freshening touch had a baby that gurgled and cooed and squirmed before the. camera. Then Lindbergh made his epic flight, and overnight the aviator came into his own. Cold cash figures prove., that the news- reels of Lindbergh’s arrival and various receptions were one of the greatest box office hits of tire year. This is all good ’news to Beery and Hatton, Paramount’s comedy team. They appear in “Now We’re in the Air,” which will lie at the Princess Theatre to-night, a nonsense air opera built around aviation. Frank Stra.ver directed, and the cast includes Louise Brooks, Russell Simpson, Mu-1 conn. Waite and Duke Martin.
The usual supports will also be shown and Mr F. Restioaux will preside at the piano.
