NEWSPRINT PRICE. {United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] NEW YORK', December 23. A New York international paper company have announced through lAmevinan Newspaper Publishers Asisociation that the prsent price of 55 •dollars 20 cents for newsprint will remain unchanged for the first half of 1930. The announcement said there would bo no increase after that date without thirty days notice to newspaper publishers. The publishers Association lias received word from the Newsprint Institute, Canada thyt the price of sixty dollars per ton recently decided on by some larger Canadian newsprint manufacturers would remain unless the market conditions changed in the near future.

Loyd Beaverbrook’s crusade for, the policy of Empire Trade Development lias stirred greater interest and activity in England than was manifest even in the time of Joseph Chamberlain’s project of preferential imperialism according to the Conservative leader, Mr Bennett, who has just returned from London.
