'(By Telegraph, Per Press Association., CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 23. Heavy rain has been falling all day ,at Christchurch. Lancaster Park is already in such a condition that it cannot be playable to-morrow for the M.C.C. match, with Canterbury. The rain still continued to-night, and the prospect is for more rain. No definite announcement of a postponement has yet been made, but it i,s impossible mat play can begin to-morrow.

South Australia in the second innings have lost 1 for 76 (Harris 10, Hone, not out 44, Pritchard, not out, 14).
