CONCERT AT MENTAL HOSPITAL

On Friday evening the choir of St. Andrew’s Church gave their annual ’Xmas entertainment at the Westland Mental Hospital. There was a large gathering in the fine concert hull and every item was very heartily applauded. Solos, duets and quartettes were given in addition to u number of hymns and anthems. The choir was assisted by Mr and Mrs Arnold Perry, and Alias McCurdie, and several humorous selections were given by Mr Bulpin.

Dr. Hayes and Matron Drummond expressed their thanks and several patients 'also spoke in appreciation of the visit.

Rev. J. W. Hayward replying sai l it gave the choir great pleasure to go up there and* give the concert and to note how well the institution was managed, and wished them ail the compliments of the season. A very pleasant evening concluded with a dainty supper, served by the hospital staff.
