DAVIS CUP TRIALS

(Received this day at 10 a.m.> SYDNEY, Dec. 23,
The tennis players, Crawford, Hopman, Wilard, Moon Cummings and Hawkes have been invited to play in the Davis Cup trials at Sydney and Melbourne. From these the Australian team will probably be chosen and the next six best available players will sail from Sydney on January 14th to Auckland for a month’s tour of New Zealand at the invitation of the New Zealand Association.
