HURRICANE DAMAGE AT THE ISLANDS. SUVA, Dee. 15. At Taveuni it is estimated that the storm loss totals from 15 to 20 per cent of the 1930 crop. There is no definite news of drowning at Rewa. There are rumours only. KETCH endeavour delayed. AUCKLAND, Deo. 15. Anxietv was felt for the safety of the auxiliary ketch Endeavour, trading in the Fiji Islands. According to advice received by the owner, Mr Robert Burns, rtf Auckland, yesterday, the vessel was four days, overdue, hut a cable received this morning repoited the vessel safe. The Endeavour left Suva nine days ago on her usual run to the island of Rotuma, a distance of about 500 miles. The trip ordinarily takes between four and five days with a favouring trade wind. There are no details of what delayed the vessel. ANOTHER SHIP TURNS TIP. SUVA, Dec. 15.
