DRUIDISM
The half-yearly meeting of Lodge. Wesitland was held in. the Lodge room on December 6th. Bro. G. Noble presided over a good attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward and outward correspondence was received and approved. The installing officer, D.P. Bro. Barrowman, assisted by P.D.P. Bro. Robinson then installed the following officers for the current term: — Bro. G, Noble, J.P.A.; Sister Ridland, A.D.; Sister Ballinger, V.A.; Sister Selby, 1.G.; Sister Jolley and Bro. Sparkes, jnr., A.D.B.’s; Sister Herring and Bro. J. Tinnetti, V.A.B.’s; P.A. Bro. J. Fox, Secretary; P.A. Bro. F. Ballinger, Treasurer; P.A. . Bro. F. Groufsky, Minute Secretary. J.P.A. Bro, T. Lock was presented by the D.P. with his P.A. collar and diploma. All present then adjourned to a social evening in the Town Hall where the following toasts were honoured : “The King and the Order,” proposed by the Arch Druid. “Grand Lodge,” proposed by P.D.P. Bro. W. Robinson, coupled with, the names of D.P. Barrowman and P.D.P. Bro. Guy. “First Sister Arch -—•’“ proposed toy D.P. Bro. Barrowman, responded to by Sister Badland. “Newly installed Officers of Westland Lodge,” proposed, by P.A. Bro. Samson, responded to by officers elect. “District President,” proposed by P.A Bro. F. Groufsky, responded to by D.P. Bro. Barrowman. “Sister Lodges,” proposed by P.D.P. Bro. Robinson coupled with the names of Bro. J. Burns (Hibernian Lodge). Bro. (Seddon Lodge), and Bro. Tennent (Star of the West). During the evening items were received from Sister Jolley, Sister Heir ring, Bro Richmond. Bro. S, McPhee, Bro. Schroder and Bro. Wainmann. The singing of Auld Lang Syne brought to a close a very pleasant evening.
