ALLEGED BRIBE. AIR THEODORE’S DENIAL. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day.at 11 a.m.) Canberra, Dec. 13, The Treasurer (Mr Theodore), replied in the House to the charges by Senator Reid of accepting '£lo,ooo sterling from Queensland liquor interests. In the course of his remarks he said there was no truth whatsoever in the charge. It was . a concocted lie and part of a widespread campaign of calumny against him.
