WOODVILLE—SECOND DAY (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WOODVJ.LLE, December 12. The second day's racing of the Woodviilo Jockey Culb was held in line weather and with a, large attendance. 'J he events were very closely contested. The principal event resulted in a dead heat between Merry Mint and Blimp. The tote investments amounted to £10,477, compared with £12,413 for the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £4,870 over the previous summer meeting. Results: Papatawa Hurdles:—(B) Bed Lane 1, (1) Vinella 2, (3) Delude 3. Won by a short head. Time 2.49 3-5. Novice Stakes:—(l) Grecian 1, (7) Portray 2, (8) Manifesto 3.. Won by half a length.
