SCOTT WINS ON A FOUL. (United Press Association—By Electro Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, Dec. 9. In their twelve-round bout at ATadison Square Garden. Phil Scott (20-H pounds) gained the verdict over A r on Point (1984 pounds) by a foul in the second round. The fight had a mediocre opening. Tt was staged before a record crowd of notables and was widely heroldecl. The fight ended suddenly when Porat. reaching for the elusive Britisher’s body, landed a low blow. J. Dempsey was refereeing the fight for charity He was uncertain for a few moments, and lie urged Scott to go on, but Scott- slowly sank to the .canva*,. d libelling. 'the middle, aind grimacing Tt was apparent that lie was in pain. Dempsey then lifted Scott, like a baby, but the Britisher refused to continue. Scott grovelled and wept as lie was led to bis stool.
