TREATMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS
REV. E. WARD INTERVIEWED. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Doc. 9. Following on a communication from Dr Valentine, Director-General of Health, Rev. Edgar Ward to-day interviewed Him A. J. Stall worthy,. Minister of Health, with regard to the treatment of tuberculosis by his Secret formula. Mr Ward told the Minister that he consulted the Department two and a half years ago when he had solid ground for believing his treatment was effective. The Department gave him no encouragement and declined to discuss the matter till he had offered a conclusive proof of the efficiency of the treatment, The Minister expressed, surprise and asked Mr Ward if he preferred to discuss the formula and treatment with the Superintendent of a Sanatorium. Mr Ward agreed subject to the assurance of secrecy which was given bv the Minister. Mr Ward will probably place his formula and treatment before a specialist next week.
