HEAVY STORM
SHIPPING HELD UP. (Australian Press Association). MELBOURNE, December 7. There have been fierce gales, accompanied by heavy seas in Bass Straits. They have seriously delayed shipping. Several vessels are sheltering in the bays on tlie Victorian Coast. The liner “Manuka” was thirtynine hours behind her schedule time. Five other ships were a day late.
