A HOLIDAY ATTRACTION

FRED SMITH’S DANCE ORCHESTRA. This popular Christchurch Combination has booked for another tour of the West Coast, commencing on Boxing night at Kanieri. Mr Fred Smith is bringing a sextette of entirely fresh players new to the West Coast. The personnel of the band this year is as follows: Fred Smith (pianist), Keith Lethaby (violin), Hector Macdonald (saxophone), Dave McFadden (saophone), Jack Donovan (trumpeter) and Auton Low (drums and vocalist). All the latest music will be featured and patrons will be assured of an enjoyable time at the functions field. The Band will conduct dances in the Soldiers* Hall, Hokitika, on Friday, Dec. 27th. and Wednesday, New Year’s Night.
