(Received this day at 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 29.
At Bradford, the Lord Mayor’s luncheon to the wool conference, Maurice Dubrulle, French delegate, said wool growers in Australia and New Zealand, the Cape, and South Africa, had drawn his attention to the extent of publicity given artificial silk wool, which caught the public eye to tlie detriment of natural wool, so it is not astonishing some woolg, rowers are considering tlie advisability of killing flocks and adapting (grazing land for agricultural purposes.
It was mideniaiblo that the silknozzle and displaced the wool sack in real feminine clothing, but the situation was beginning to readjust itself. Tt was being realised that wool as a natural animal fibre possessed inherent
characteristic lacking in artificial substitutes. There was an indication of wool returning in favour. Leading creators of fashion in Paris and other capitals are giving the revival every encouragement.
