It is proposed to work through the Chi istnias season with tile exception of Christmas Day.

State Assembly lately have neon very rowdy, but last night’s was the worst for many years, dhe refusal of Labour members to listen in silence to a second reading speech by the Premier on a Bill to suspend rural awards, led to the ejection of three members, and eleven others were warned.

Labour members throughout the speech continually interjected.

FEDERAL BANK BILL.

CANBERRA, Nov. 29. Treasurer Theodore, in the House, introduced a Bill to amend the Commonwealth Bank Act. The Bill empowers the Treasurer to authorise the Bank to require any person to furnish particulars of the gold coin and bullion held by him, and to require any person to exchange for Australian notes any gold coin or bullion held by him.
