CHRISTCHURCH, November 29. At the annual meeting of New Zealand Swimming Council, officers elected were—President, A\ r . E. D. Bishop ; deputy-President, A. R. Jacobsen.North Island representative, P. Ooira. The Standing Committee was re-elect-ed. A cablegram was received from New South Wales stating that Jean Cocks and Edna Davev had accepted a\hifivitation to visit New Zealand. The appointment of a chaperone was." being arranged. N. Ryan and 0. Griffiths are leaving to-day for New Zealand.
