VANCOUVER, November 26
At Cheyenne, ' a lone, youthful bandit, wrecked a Union Pacific passenger train by pulling the spikes from the Jails. Then, single-handed, he lined up and robbed forty passengers, obtaining £IOOO in money and jewels. “I have a wife and two kids, and the railway won’t give me a job, so I’m going to take it, anyway,” said the robber, when jabbing the ribs of one fat passenger with his revolver. Nobody was injured when the five cars were .derailed, but the repair bill exceeds £IO,OOO.
