Wilford on liis receiving his letters patent as King’s Counsel took place in tho Supreme ; Court to-day, the Chief Justice pre- \ siding. , . < . Mr Wilford as High Commissioner' prevented his commencing to exercise the privileges conferred at once,, but they libbed to see him back in his place, and that he would have many years of enjoyment in active practice of the honour the patent conferred on. ‘him. ‘
