an unpublished letter. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this dnv at 9.40 n.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. An hitherto unoublished letter from Captain Scott addressed “To My Widow,” is included in the “Life of the Explorer,” by Stephen Gwynn, uublished by John Line. The letter which was written whan Scott was awaiting deatli said:—“lf anything happens to me I should like you to know how much you mean to me, what a pleasant recollection i° with me as I depart. I want you to take the whole thing sensibly ns T am sure you will. The boy will b e your comfort. You know I cherish no sentimental rubbish about remarriage. When the right man comes to help you in life you ought to be your own happy self again.” The widow is now Lady Hilton Young.
