ANOTHER RECORD

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 22

The creation of another New Zealand record in the number of children, taught to swirn, was announced in the report on swimming in schools presented to the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association During last season 15,830 certificates were issued to school children for proficiency in swimming. The Davis Shield for the school gaining the highest percentage of certificates was won by Tewerengai School (Auckland.)
