WELLINGTON, (Nov. 21
The Secretary of the Wellington Federation of Educational Associations dispatched the (following telegram to the Minister of .'Education at Auckland :—“New regulation governing proficiency examinations brought into force seriously affecting children sitting this year. . My Federation strongly urges yob instruct that postponement of • same be made until 1930 examinations.”
, The following reply, , was received from the Minister “Tour telegram to hand. . I have directed Department that new regulations governing proficiency 1 examinations ■ are not to apply this year.” :i-'-
