For over two hours to-night, 'the '"Wanganui hire. Brigade fought the flames when the Donbank Private Hotel, with 54 bedrooms, was totally destroved by fire.

The proprietress. Airs Annie Leake, and all the hoarders and guests, lost everything. The origin of the lire is unknown, but flames burst out of a first storey bedroom at eight o’clock, The ' insurances are not available.
