The Dusseldorf police are concentrating their inquiries on the dancing i floors and the restaurants on the outskirts of the town, as at least three o. £he murdered girls appear to have •spent the evtenings preceding their deaths, dancing with their murderer. The police have exhibited a life--sized doll, dressed similar to the girl, Ida Reuter (who was murdered on September 30th.) in the resorts where she may have spent the last hours of her life, but the police have 1 ailed to secure any description of her partner. The detectives are also distributing photographs, of Maria Hahn in the ballrooms, and are asking the public to discover her partner. It has been established that Maria Hahn was dancing with a young man at a restaurant called ‘.‘S.tindermuhle” which is only twenty minutes’ walk from the scene,of her murder. Maria was a girl who quickly made the acquaintance of men but was not a bad girl. , It is noteworthy 'that the bodies have always been found in spots other than the place of the actual murder. T'ne method of transport h»3 not been revealed. AN ARREST. LONDON, Nov. 18. The “Daily Express” Dusseldorf correspondent reports that an unemployed labourer has been arrested in ..connection with the death of Maria Hahn. The arrest is the result of Fraulein Btindermuhle, a waitress, identifying a youth who danced with Maria Hahn Before her death. The prisoner is a small, swarthy man with wild, staring eyes. The police believe him to be the vampire. The most important fact is that the youth left a farm the day after Marin Hahn’s death without waiting for his wages.
A NECK CLOTH FOUND,

Importance is attached in Dusseldorf to the finding of a bloodstained jfockcloth and life preserver in a hut near a well where the body of 'Gertrude Allermant, a child, victim, was diseov&red. The police have strong suspicions about the owner of the neck cloth. • ’• •'
