FACILITATING BRITISH EXPORTS
• Overseas' trade of the United Kihgi dom is of such vital importance to the economic life of the country that the Government has taken definite steps to assist and facilitate British export* activities. A number of schemes to expand foreign trade have been' 'tried out, but the export credit insurance plan which became effective in November, 1928, is not only increasing* l in popularity and merit but also is materially assisting trade expansion.
