(Received this dav at 9.25 a.in.) LONDON, Nov. 15.
It is reliably stated that there is no prospect of the Government modifying the<Singapore Policy, cabled cn 13th November. The Australian Press Association was informed: —'‘It clearly explained Cabinet’s plan, and does not mean a suspension of the work, merely a go-slow. It is parallel with Mr Seullin’s request to slow down migration. Australia should realise the principle is as fair, one way a.s the other, and defence and migration arc allied problems.”
