WELLINGTON’S AIR PAGEANT
PERFECT WEATHER PREVAILS

Despite prognostications - stunning weather prevails for the first Wellington air pageant. All that is necessary is for the existing conditions to continue in which case public and flyers alike, should thoroughly enjoy themselves. The Mayor (Mr Troup) speaks at 1.30 p.m and afterwards makes his first flight in an aeroplane. He is the only passenger who will go up outside the members of the Aero Cub. The main event in the aerial derby, which is being flown in heats. The course is ten miles.
The Mayor will fly in the Hamilton Aero Club’s machine, piloted by Captain McGregor,
