REMEDY IN EDUCATION.

' RUGBY, Nov. 12. The Duke of York addressed a, meeting of the World Alliance for the 'Promoting of International Friendship through the Churches. The meeting was'll eld at Number Ten, Downing Street. Miss Ishbel MacDonald presided. The Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Davidson (the ex-Archbishop) and Lord Parmoor, were also present. The Duke of York paid a' tribute in the work of the Alliaiice. He said: •'‘Whether or not peace' or war to be the means of settling disputes, must depend on the way in .which the youth of the world is educated. The horrors of the last Avar, to the generation now growing ftp, appear to be rather , A the same as when older people might look upon the Crimean War. It is not the horrors of the past, hut a right understanding of the problems which are now facing us that will, achieve the result which we ardently desire.’'
