GREAT BINGEN AMISS
UNLIKELY STARTER IN TROTTING CUP.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 8. . Great Bingen is an unlikely starter in the N.Z. Trotting Cup. After a good workout on Thursday, he,was found the following morning in a had way, the trouble being a suspensory ligament. Although ’'not vet withdrawn, his owners consider the case hopeless. The Cup was to have been the champion’s last race, it having been intended to send him against various records before his definite retirement to the stud.
