DROWNING FATALITY
TWO CHILDREN INVOLVED
SYDNEY, Nov. 7
Two children. John and Leslie Bradley were drowned when a car g >fc out of control and fell twenty feet into the Tambo River near Moiling. Two adults in the ear were thrown dear. A man who witnessed Hie accident dived under the water, gut the fastenings of the .hood and the bodies of the children came to the surface.
CONVENT BURNT
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED
BRISBANE, Nov. 7
A convent at Beaufescrt, a large wooden two storeyed building was destroyed by fire. The adjoining church was saved by the efforts of the firemen, The Sisters and twelve hoarders had narrow, escapes. Two Sisters were trapped on the balcony. One had taken the other, from a sick bed and dropped her to the ground, a distance of fifteen feet. She had several ribs broken in the Tall. "When the second Sister jumped to the ground her veil was ablaze.
Incendiarism is suspected as threatening lettqrs were received stating the writer’s intention, of burning the building.
