AUCKLAND, Nov. 5

At a. meeting of the Auckland District Racing Committee, a deputation was received from the Auckland County Racing Clubs’ Association in connection with the Association s suggestion that some scheme he evolved whereby the various District Committees should have more effective control of racing in their respective districts. It was decided to reply to 'the Association, after having heard the views' expressed by the members of the deputation ‘dihat, in the opinion of the Committee, the Auckland Provincial County Racing Club’s Association should endeavour to arrange a meeting between the Auckland representatives, Provincial and Metropolitan, on the New Zealand Racing Conference, to meet representatives from the Association to discuss the position in regard to their endeavours to have an alteration made in the powers of the district committees.”
