BLACKBALL MINE
STILL IDLE TO-DAY

GREYAIOUTH, Nov. 6. Blackball Alino should have resumed work to-day, but is still idle. Some disturbance occurred yesterday evening, police being sent from Greymouth. Windows were broken at the Aline Manager’s residence and a demonstration was directed against an engine driver who refuged at the bouse. A Union meeting will be held this afternoon.
It is understood the engine drivers have not joined the Union as arranged hv the terms of the strike settlement.
