The Prime Minister announced the Federal Cabinet intends to suggest to the British Government the suspension of the migraton clause of the £34,000,000 agreement, owing to the large number of • unemployed already in Australia. Under the agreemnt, Australia undertook to absorb one migrant for every £75 spent from that loan on developmental work in the Commonwealth.
