DEAD MAN
RISES out of coffin. A MEXICAN STORY. - [United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) MEXICO CITY, Nov. 4. Alejandro Delapena Rico, inheritor of ia famous name and immense prowas pronounced dead by two physicians. There followed a wake, where Anna Rosales appeared on the scene and insisted on taking possession of the' corpse, saying she was his wife. Mrs Delapena, the second wife, disputed possession and the women came to blows. People crowded in from the street- as tlie .women shrieked and fought- over'- the coffin. When the row was at its height, Delapena rose suddenly in the roffin, asking what all the racket was about.
The mournin' guests fled in terror. The story of the resurrection spread ' rapidly and the street was quickly janibed for Severn’ blocks by,the curious, who demanded that the dead man he brought out whew all could see him. The intervention of police and firfeR men W as necessary to clear the streets. “ You see two jealous women can .wake the dead,” Alejandro said, when ,:asked what brought him out of his e’eath sleep.
