The local observer for the Dominion Meteorological Department reports the following rain and sunshine records for the period ending Sunday, Nov. 3rd:
For October there were 248 hours of sunshine, exactly eight hours per day. For the ten months ended Oct. 31st. there have been 1775 hours 42 minutes of sunshine (as against 1572 hours) and 73.61 inches (as against 1C0.54 inches) for the previous ten months.
